The hearing will be held in the Frank Moore Administration and Judicial Center, 135 W. Cherokee Avenue, 2nd Floor, Commissioner’s Conference Room.

The county is proposing to raise property taxes by 25.2 percent for unincorporated areas and 21.2 percent for incorporated areas over the rollback millage rate — that's 24.1 percent for the county as a whole, $5.9 million more than last year, and more taxes than it collected in any other year since before 2008.
