Get ready for a night under the stars when Tellus holds an Observatory Open House this Friday.
You'll be able to view stars, planets and galaxies using the museum's 20-inch telescope. Note that if skies are cloudy, the open house will be cancelled. Right now the National Weather Service is calling for partly cloudy skies with a 30 percent chance of showers Friday night.
The open house takes place from 9 to 11 p.m. Members get in free; non-members $5.
