Investigators Arrest Rape Suspect
The incident, which included an alleged burglary, occurred in Cartersville earlier this month.
authorities last night arrested a Cobb County man in connection with an alleged rape.
According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, investigators were called in to assist in a burglary and rape reported in Cartersville on July 2. The victim reportedly knew the suspect.
Investigators responded to the scene and further investigation resulted in the arrest of Dustin James Brookshire, 23, of Acworth. He is charged with rape and burglary.
