After my year spent traveling as the 2009 Georgia Teacher of the Year, I returned to Cartersville High School as the Theater Arts Director and English Department Instructional Supervisor. I earned my bachelor's degree at Eastern Michigan University, my master's degree at Walden University, and my specialist degree in brain research at Nova Southeastern University. My primary love remains teaching today's youth in a creative manner that brings life and energy to the classroom. I am also active in my church, Grace Baptist of Cartersville, and enjoy spending time with my two teenage daughters.
