Katie Cheek, Neighbor

<b>Bio:</b>

Katie, a junior at Woodland High School, is a person who enjoys the beauty of nature and due to that her photography captures the beauty in nature and wildlife. She is always looking for an opportunity to go outside and take pictures of her pets, yard, and all the little creatures around her neighborhood. Along with her photography, Katie also loves to write and read. Every day, she is writing a story or reading one.  Her career choice will involve photography and, on occasion, writing. She looks forward to her journalism, video broadcasting, and literature classes in school because each day she gains knowledge on how to become better at capturing the beauty of a scene and how to catch a reader’s attention in her writing pieces. In the future, beyond high school, she hopes to become a professional photographer and have her work be displayed in art museums. After graduating, she hopes to travel and capture all the beauty in Australia. She plans on going to a university for six years to study photography.
