I am a 67 year old widow, who is semi-retired and works on a part time basis as a Certified Paralegal for a local Atlanta attorney in the Estate Planning and Probate field of Law. I am an avid reader and love to work in my flower beds to improve the appearance of my Cartersville home and long walks with my dog, Chu Chu. I am a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Cartersville and teach Pre-School. Sunday School to 4 & 5 year olds. I also devote as much time as possible to charitable work such as Meals on Wheels for my church and contribute to our Bread of Life food bank.
In my spare time, I am an active member of the Bartow Tea Party as the Director of this grassroots organization which is newly refueled and revived from it original inception 4 years ago. The Bartow Tea Party is a not for profit, grassroots group of concerned citizens who are Conservative in nature and independent thinkers. We care about the direction of our Country; believe in the US Constitution as the law of the land; and desire to be educated on the issues, on the candidates and on what is happening in our local, State and Federal governments. We meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Slopes BBQ here in Cartersville on Tennessee Street from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm and its open to all Bartow County residents and those from surrounding counties to attend.
