I can relate to that, my grandmother had to hide the fact in the 50's about being Cherokee.
I think you are doing a wonderful job on the Patch and I enjoyed your post. keep up the good work!
Evolutionary psychology and innate behavior is one of my favorite subjects with a close second in Cherokee history.

My great-grandmother was full-blooded Cherokee. Much was lost as it wasn't cool to be a Native back in the 30's,40's and 50's when I was born.
