City of Smyrna Ward 3 Rep. Teri Anulewicz said the discussion on a "Wellness Center" was from November last year, and that "it is NOT happening and is nowhere in the budget."
"We have an obligation to talk about employee wellness and help them stay fit so we can actually cut down cost on healthcare. However, this was a talk from 6 months ago, and it is simply not going to happen. No one is forcing anyone to do anything," said Anulewicz.
Hope this information helps for those who are looking for a response from the City of Smyrna.

We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and concerns with us. However, the discussion has gone way off topic and a lot of the comments are no longer relevant to the story, and contain personal attacks and abusive language that violate Patch's Term of Use. Therefore, we'll be closing the comment stream.

ReplyThank you all for your input and comments, we appreciate your participation. Patch did share many positive stories about Campbell High, and here are just a few examples:

The headline of the story above simply suggests an incident happened at this location, and Rodney is simply trying to report it the way facts are presented to him. We do appreciate you sharing your thoughts and concerns with us, but please understand that no one is trying to portray Campbell in a negative way, and that it is a story about an "incident" that people might want to know about.
We all know that Campbell is a wonderful school with much to offer, and comments that turn into personal attacks do NOT represent the school in a positive way, so let's all be respectful and continue to support great local high schools such as Campbell High. -
