Frozen Yogurt Shop, TCBY, Set to Open

A company spokesman said the franchise with a local owner is slated to begin serving treats at the end of the month or in early April.

Following the recent openings of The Sweet Spot and City Swirl Frozen Yogurt, which ended an extended frozen-yogurt-shop drought in Cartersville, perhaps the country's most recognizable such dessert stop is set to open on the west side of town. Near Subway and West End Pharmacy, TCBY is set for 807 West Avenue in Westside Plaza. According to tcby.com, its two closest yogurt shops are on Roswell Road in Marietta and Atlanta. A local person owns the franchise store, one of more than 600 TCBY locations worldwide, according to spokesman Christy Olliff.
