Ate Track Bar & Grill Rocks Downtown Cartersville
Andrea and Jackie Wallace, owners of Appalachian Grill, opened a second eatery in the former Wall Street Cafe location.
Downtown Cartersville has new rock-n-roll restaurant, but the team behind it isn't new to rocking the local dining scene. A few weeks ago, Andrea and Jackie Wallace, owners of the upscale Appalachian Grill under the bridge opened the new eatery, Ate Track Bar & Grill. It replaces the former Wall Street Cafe, which closed in April last year, and is a block or so from Appalachian Grill. "It's close to Grill and a small location. There was no commute for us. No new city," Andrea Wallace told Cartersville Patch about opening the new bar and grill. "We transformed the whole space. It was a win-win for us. It was always our dream to open a rock-n-roll bar." It's great to hear when customers enjoy their dining experience in our local eateries. Last night we had company from out of state and decided to treat them to dinner at the Appalachian Grill. Had the 'Grill' been full or we had to wait any extended period of time, the Ate Track was to be our "Plan B".
