Booth's Ansel Adams Exhibit a Success

Curators have extended a portion of 'A Legacy' through March 13.

If you thought time was running out, you're in luck. Located downtown in Cartersville’s historic district, The Booth Western Art Museum is continuing to host the most comprehensive Ansel Adams exhibit ever displayed in Georgia, “Ansel Adams: A Legacy,” through Feb. 20. Due to its popularity, the Booth is extending a portion of the display through March 13. Now occupying two galleries and 6,000 square feet, the full exhibit of 130 photographs will be whittled downt to 90, a collection curators say is "a stunning cross-section of the artists' greatest images." Since the unveiling Sept. 25, the Booth has seen an influx of more than 48,000 visitors, resulting in the museum’s most successful year to date. Officials credit the Ansel Adams …
