Students Transitioning Academically, Responsibly and Socially provides pre-school education through the Bartow County…More Board of Education. It is a state-funded program.
In addition to six pre-K classes with 20 children each, six special needs classes each accommodate 12 students.
The facility also houses theNorthwest Georgia Education Program, a therapeutic school for students with severe emotional or behavioral disorders and autism. It provides pre-K, elementary, middle and high school classes, counseling, family support groups and behavioral intervention and social skills training.
The operation, a program of Northwest Georgia RESA, serves both Bartow County and city of Cartersville schools.
