<p>Constructed as Bartow County Schools' third high school, Woodland High sits on the Etowah River on a 120-acre campus and offers a variety of academic, artistic, athletic and social opportunities for students.</p>
<p>The school offers college-preparatory classes, an array of elective courses, including technical-career preparatory programs, performing and visual arts, and options to specialize in a specific areas. Students who do very well have the opportunity to study in International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement courses.</p> <p>Home of the Wildcats, Woodland sports teams compete in the Georgia High School Association's Region 5-AAAA, with varsity teams in 10 sports for boys and girls. School teams also compete at the junior varsity and freshmen levels in several sports.</p> <p>The performing arts department exposes students to design and aesthetics, history, literature, management performance and acting.</p>
