Why do we have to wait for a young driver or bicyclist to become a statistic? Why can't we start becoming forward thinkers and realize that preventative measures in safety do save lives. It's very sad to think it's going to take a loss of life(s) before someone finally says....oh they should have put a cross walk and/or traffic signal there before someone had to die. It's not about the type of shops or the inconvenience it's a matter of it being the right thing to do as more and more shops are being built in that area. This is not lil Cartersville anymore, we are growing and fast!
