My son loves it. I have three nieces and three nephews that also attend. It is great family fun and great for confidence building. My 10 year old niece has really blossomed in the program and has come out of the shell that she was hiding in.

I love this place it is extremely family friendly and it is a joy to always be there. My kids love to go and make new friends.

i think that michael has improved with all his moves and with alot of other areas as well we have seen alot of improvement with his being shy and not wanting to get involed with the wrong crowd .My son loves CHOI KWANG DO.

My son loves it ! He has always been active , never sits very long but since he participates in Choi Kwang Do , he's gained a respect for himself that is untouchable ! I am proud to be the parent of a Choi Kwang Do student . Mr. & Mrs. Wilson open their studio to all of us , making us feel like we are at home while we get to watch all levels of training , btw > watching a black belt perform is awesome !! And the fees are nothing compared to what it takes to entertain yourself in Cartersville . You can waste money on junk , videos
, ect or you can put a few dollars toward knowing ur child is ready for the world .

When I was young you could go out and play all day and my parents never had to worry, but unfortunately in this ever changing world that no longer exist. I had been putting my two grandaughters in all kinds of classes, dance, gymnastics, etc. They were fun, but I wondered what they were really getting out of them? That is when I decided to put them in Choi Kwang Do and give them something they would take with them a lifetime. I watch their progress! I know that I made the right choice and when they tie that black belt around their waist... OMG! You might see tears of joy! Might? Yeah, right! Many lessons learned! If I try I can succeed! Never give up! My Nana believed that I could accomplish and I will believe I can accomplish! Discipline! Strength! Abilities/Skills! Oh, I almost forgot! I will forever be loved and protected! In the end we all benefit!

Speaking from several years involvement in training with Cartersville Choi Kwang Do, I recommend anyone give it a try. The training is great and results are noticed in a short period of time. The Wilson's are superb instructors and work with all students to help them achieve their goals.

Our son started with them a few months ago...LOVES IT! He's already tested & passed for his first belt. Michael does a great job making the experience FUN for the kids. Also, he gains attention&respect from the students - something we strongly want our son to learn. Glad we signed up.

Choi Kwang Do is now the most established and longest running martial art program in Cartersville, GA. The academy is headed by husband and wife team Michael & Angie Wilson of Cartersville. Choi Kwang Do is not sport, it’s a martial art program designed to enrich the lives of those involved. The focus is practical self defense, optimum health, fitness and personal development not winners in sport competitions. We have on hand about 20 certified instructors to assist the students and most are CPR, first aid and AED certified. We reside in a large climate controlled, professional facility (not a warehouse) with comfortable seating for guest and two fully padded training areas for the safety and comfort of the students. Choi Kwang Do does not teach mysticism or religion but we do encourage good moral character, respect for law and order and leadership. Our classes are very structured which we find to be the key to the development of discipline. If you are even slightly interested in self defense, health, fitness or positively developing your character for yourself or a loved one come by and watch a class, there is no cost or obligation. We encourage everyone to check out the programs/classes other academies have to offer but most of the time when a family comes in and watches a class they know our academy is the right one for them!
