An agency of Bartow County government, Animal Control picks up and houses stray dogs and cats, traps unwanted or nuisance animals and responds to dog bite cases, enforcing related county ordinances.
The office also investigates animal cruelty or neglect reports, responds to injured animals and enforces the county's leash law.
Pet adoptions are handled by the Etowah Valley Humane Society.
