Animals cannot be adopted through Animal Control for many reasons. Health and disease being one ofRead More them. The animals at Etowah Valley Humane Society, next door, have been retrieved from animal control, neutered/spayed, fully vetted, socialized and ready for a new home. Every time an animal is adopted from the humane society, it opens up a spot for an animal to come over from animal control. If more people would adopt, more animals would be saved. Contribute financially and volunteer personally at the humane society. Every home they get saves an animal's life in animal control. Spay/neuter and train your pets so that they don't end up on the streets, producing more helpless babies, or in animal control because they weren't trained and owners couldn't handle them, thus turning them over to animal control.

Educate our residents, speak for the animals. Do something about this horrific number of animal's losing their precious lives - If we do our part; animals will be able to live long happy lives.
