The Association for Relaxed Christian Educators is a non-profit, Christian organization dedicated to fostering a more familial approach to home education. ARCHERS for the Lord founder Mary Hood runs various program and workshops held in Kennesaw, Cartersville and the surrounding area. Each aims to ameliorate the possible stress other home educators may experience as a result of adhering to institutional guidelines. This locally-run organization emphasizes the home aspect of home schooling.
Among its various programs, ARCHERS for the Lord offers a home-school drama camp for children ages 10 through 14. Workshops cover various genres and other aspects of stage production, including improvisation, miming, stage-makeup application and audition preparation.
