Farmers Market On Saturday Will Have Something For The Kids

Saturday's installment of the Cartersville Farmers Market will have activities specifically targeted towards children.

The kids' activity will start at 9:30 a.m. at the market's location, the Founder's Oak parking lot located across the street from Cartersville City Hall. Residents will be able to shop for locally grown and produced food and other goodies while the children play. 

The market will run each Wednesday and Saturday from June 4 to Sept. 27. Market hours are from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. 

The market will feature a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, jams and jellies, local honey, fresh flowers, crafts and much more items.
