More Than 10 Employers at Goodwill Job Fair

Set for Thursday, companies will be recruiting workers in Cartersville for professional, warehouse and retail positions.

Goodwill of North Georgia is giving job seekers the chance to connect with more than 10 employers Thursday, Sept. 12, at a Cartersville Career Center job fair.

Employers will be on-site recruiting workers for professional, warehouse and retail positions.  

The nonprofit, known for its donation centers and stores, uses the money from its donated goods program to fund its career centers and employment services. The facilities have become a resource for more than 30,000 job seekers and thousands of area businesses looking to hire staff.

Goodwill career centers are free and open to the public, and are equipped with computers, résumé-writing tools, local job postings, photocopiers, telephones and other resources. Goodwill also provides recruitment fair space, interview rooms and other services for local employers.  

Job fair attendees should arrive in professional interview attire and bring several copies of their résumés. The career center is located at 929 Joe Frank Harris Parkway Southeast in Cartersville.
