Guardrail Repair on U.S. 41 in Bartow County This Week

Work near Cartersville is set to take place between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Georgia Department of Transportation Maintenance crews will begin work on repairing the guardrail along State Route 3 or U.S. Highway 41 at mile markers 4 and 7 in Bartow County, according to a press release. 

Work will proceed daily from Monday, Jan. 13, through Thursday, Jan. 16, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., weather permitting.

GDOT officials say guardrail maintenance and repair are essential to keeping the roadways safe for the traveling public. Maintenance workers do their best to keep track of the damage to guardrails and make repairs as quickly as possible in order to preserve road safety, the press release says.
