Trio of Cartersville High Football Players Will Play Together in College

Quarterback, two receivers, will be teammates at Charlotte.

Cartersville High School completed a three-peat in the college football recruiting season Wednesday, Feb. 5,Β on National Signing Day.

Wide receivers T.L. Ford and Mark Quattlebaum both signed national letters of intent to play college football at Charlotte.

They will join teammate Brooks Barden, who signed in December after graduating early. Barden, son of Cartersville coach Frank Barden, is a quarterback.

Also signing Wednesday was Cass linebacker Lucas Johnson, who signed with Georgia State.
