Waffle House workers did not recognize Watson, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle. It was only at the end of the meal, when Watson asked their waiter to be in a cell phone photo, that his identity became known.

The Augusta Chronicle reports that when Watson left Waffle House, workers found a $148 tip.

The group then stopped at Steak ‘n Shake, where Watson ordered six shakes and left a $24 tip, the paper said.

After winning the 2012 Masters, Watson told The Golf Channel he loved the restaurant and wanted “a grilled cheese from Waffle House and hash browns” for his traditional champions dinner. He ended up with a caesar salad, grilled chicken breast with sides of mashed potatoes, corn and green beans, reports USA Today.

This time Watson went for the cheese-covered hash browns.
