Hikers and amateur astronomers are invited to join the Cartersville Parks and Recreation Department as they host these guided hike on Cartersville's Pine Mountain Trail to celebrate the first day of winter.
The hike departs from the West Trailhead at Interstate 75, exit 288, near Komatsu.
Participants may wish to bring a flashlight.
