Guided hike departs the East Loop Trailhead (time to be announced). See mountain laurel at its peak bloom on this 2.34-mile hike on compacted soil.
The moderate to difficult hike takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. Hike is guided by city of Cartersville Parks and Recreation Department.
Participants should arrive as early as trailhead parking is limited. Overflow parking is at the Allatoona Lake Resource Managers Office Parking area. In case of inclement weather (lightning or high winds), the hike will be canceled. Call to verify departure time.
