Suresight Eye Care, Gilreath Hall Opening Soon in Downtown Cartersville

Formerly a hardware store, the Gilreath building, constructed in about 1879, will offer live entertainment and classic dancing.

Two new businesses are set to open soon in downtown Cartersville.

Suresight Eye Care, optometrists offering comprehensive pediatry and family eye care, will be located at 21 E. Main St., according to the Cartersville Downtown Development Authority's November Merchant Memo.

The practice, which provides eye examinations, eyeglass fittings, contact lenses, and Lasik—with afternoon and weekend appointments available—already has offices in Alpharetta, Canton and Woodstock, according to its website.

Gilreath Hall at 10 W. Main St. will offer ballroom dancing and special event facility space, according to the DDA.

Formerly a hardware store, the Gilreath building, constructed in about 1879, will offer live entertainment and classic dancing, such as ballroom, big band, swing and salsa, and draw an older, more mature crowd, The Daily Tribune News reported.
