Belnick Wants To Hire Forklift Operators

The Georgia Department of Labor will partner with Belnick Inc. to fill 14 positions during a recruitment fair on Wednesday.

The Georgia Department of Labor will partner with a nearby Cherokee County-based company to hire new employees.

The state agency will help Belnick, Inc. recruit workers to fill 14 jobs at its facility just north of Canton on Wednesday.

The recruitment will be held between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the company's headquarters. The address is 4350 Ball Ground Highway, Canton, GA 30114

Applicants should be at least 18 years old, dress appropriately to increase their chances of being hired, bring copies of resumes and be prepared to interview for jobs on-site.

Belnick, which distributes office chairs and other related furniture, is recruiting forklift operators, upholsterers, and general warehouse and data entry clerks.

Forklift operators must have at least three years of experience while upholsterers must have at least two years of experience. Clerks are required to have at least six months of experience in their fields.  

Hourly salaries range from $12 to $14 for forklift operators, $10 to $12 for upholsterers and $10 for clerks. 

The company will discuss work schedules and benefits during the interview, and will conduct background checks and drug screenings on selected applicants.
