Every Little Bit Helps (Your Small Business)

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I LOVE MARKETING! Why? Because customers feed our business! Without customers, business dies.  

As we all know, some marketing campaigns can be very expensive. One of my favorite things to do is to think of marketing techniques that reach more customers without spending a bunch of time or money. My latest marketing campaign is simple and somewhat subtle – definitely not as far “out there” as some other things we do – but I feel like it will generate some business. It’s just one more (small) way to reach folks, but.. Every Little Bit Helps (Your Small Business), right? 

So, what is my latest idea? 

Wrist bands.

Yep. Those rubber wrist bands that you see for various causes or maybe your neighborhood HOA passes them out for pool access. I figured, why not sport one of these with our message on it.. there’s no doubt in my mind that some people will spot it while we’re standing in line at a restaurant, grocery store or coffee shop and strike up a conversation.

Will this bring customers in droves? No. However, it’s easy, cheap and is one more way to market your business. I’ll share others (both small like this and bigger, more effective strategies) in future posts.
