Woodland, Patch Team to Publish Students' Work

Cartersville Patch has partnered with another local high school.

Along with the Purple Hurricanes of , and its award-winning news magazine is teaming with Cartersville Patch to publish the work of student journalists and artists.

The photos attached to this article are just a sampling of Woodland students' creativity and talent, and the school has shared a lot more we'll feature in upcoming photo galleries.

PHOENIX, Woodland's news magazine, this year earned a General Excellence Award from the University of Georgia's Grady School of Journalism in the Georgia Scholastic Press Association's annual statewide high school publication contest, marking the 13th year in a row the publication has been named one of Georgia's best, according to the school's website.
