When Is School Out for Christmas in Cartersville?

Christmas trees and Christmas lights are going up in and on houses throughout Cartersville, and kids all over town are counting down the days until school is out for the holidays.

All three schools systems in town—the two public school systems and one private school—have the same schedule for the holidays. Here are the details:

Bartow County Schools

Holiday Break for county schools is Dec. 24 through Jan. 7. See the calendar attached.

Cartersville City Schools

Winter Holiday for city schools is Dec. 24 through Jan. 4 and is followed by a teacher in-service day and student holiday, Monday, Jan. 7. See the calendar.

Excel Christian Academy

Christmas Break for the private school is Dec. 24 through Jan. 7, including a teacher work day, Monday, Jan. 7. See the calendar.

Students in all three school systems return to class on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
