Not Your Average Beauty Pageant

Local businessmen and male alumni dress as women for this awesome fundraiser.

There are many beauty pageants that have been held locally, but none like this.

OnΒ Saturday night, Cass High School Band boosters held a fundraiser at their new facility to raise money for new band uniformsΒ for the upcoming year.Β

Going in style, the booster club held a womanless pageant that showcased some of our local hard working men. The new cafeteria was full ofΒ Cartersville friends and family that came out to cheer and shout for their number one ladies.Β  As the "women" strut their stuff on the catwalk, fans made donations to their favorite picks of the night.Β Β

Trophies were given outΒ in a few different categories:Β prettiest legs,Β miss congeniality and best butt.

The crowd voted for their top three picks of the night and they are as follows: third place goes to Dr. Cline of Cline Orthodontist; runner-up goes to EricΒ Lee of The Bridge Church; and first place goes to Paul Parker of Adairsville Parole Office.

All in all, the fundraiser was a success for the band booster. The band members and staff worked very hard and put on an excellent performance for the Cartersville community andΒ everyone left with smiles on their faces.
