Bartow History Museum welcomes Dr. Keith Hebert, professor of history at the University of West Georgia, to discuss Bartow County and northwest Georgia's response to the secession crisis during the 1850s.
Dr. Hebert will focus on the deep divisions that existed within the county during this crisis that would subsequently hamper local support for the Confederate government. After the presentation, Dr. Hebert will be available to answer questions.
The lecture is free to members and included with the price of admission for not-yet members.
