As school has started back, so has football, which means Homecoming approaches for students at !
This year Homecoming will be held on Friday, Oct. 14. The student council has already been gearing up and thinking of ideas and decorations for this big event.
The whole week of October 10 to 14, the school will have spirit days. The high school will be building floats every day of homecoming week after school. These floats will be showcased in the annual parade Friday afternoon about 4 o’clock, with the rival game beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The bonfire will ignite on Thursday, Oct. 13 in front of the school where Perry Siniard, Executive Board president, and Katie Knight, senior class president, will recognize the senior football players, band members and the girls on Homecoming Court.
During the game at halftime, we will have a ceremony to recognize our players and court members one more time. We will then announce the Homecoming king and queen of the school year! After halftime, the dance begins, where these high school classmates will make memories to last a lifetime!
