Fall is in the air and that means caramel apples were found in Allison Gilbert’s kindergarten class at Pine Log Elementary.
“We are studying apples through our read-a-loud book, The Apple Pie Tree. We are exploring their shapes as a 3D sphere,” Allison Gilbert said.
Students surveyed each other as to their preference on taste and color. Then, they graphed their answers.
“I think the red apples taste the best,” said student Marek Danhoff.
But the majority of the students thought the yellow apples were good but a little sour.
Students used a variety of toppings to decorate their caramel apples into a work of art.
The bottom line was “Yum, Yum,” said student Mason Unbarger.
