Bartow County residents Tuesday had a chance to meet 's new president, Ron Newcomb, in Cartersville.

The community reception at the was the first of several set in each of the six counties served by the school. Bartow's campus is in Acworth.

Building a strong workforce for communities in Georgia is Chatt Tech's No. 1 priority, Newcomb told Acworth Patch in February, after he was named the college's new president.
