To prepare students for their next steps after high school, Adairsville High School recently hosted Enrichment Day for juniors and seniors.

More than 400 students rotated through 20-minute sessions to learn about opportunities from local and area colleges, college planning—understanding in-demand degrees and financial aid funding—plus local area employers.

The Bartow County College & Career Academy also hosted sessions informing students how they can be served while in high school through dual enrollment and other programs.

“This year we opened up the event to include juniors based on the feedback from last year. This was a very exciting day as kids thoroughly enjoyed the information and scholarship information to benefit them in their future. Parents and students need to get this information before their senior year so they can prepare,” said AHS Lead Counselor Kellen Cloud.
