What Time is the Vice Presidential Debate?
School Board Fred Kittle is hosting a watch party for Thursday's debate between Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan.
The first and only vice presidential debate between Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan is set for 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11.
We haven't heard of any local VP debate watch parties, but Fred Kittle, the Republican challenging Wanda Cagle Gray for the Post 4 seat on the Bartow County school board, is hosting a Presidential Debate Watch Party on Oct. 16 at the Bartow County Republican Party headquarters, 162 W. Main St. in Cartersville.
The party starts at 9 p.m., but guests should feel free to come early, Kittle said in a press release. The local GOP office has signs—in support of Mitt Romney and other Republican candidates—available for free to the public.

According to the CPD, "The debate will cover both foreign and domestic topics and be divided into nine time segments of approximately 10 minutes each. The moderator will ask an opening question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a discussion of the question."

According to the CPD, "The second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which citizens will ask questions of the candidates on foreign and domestic issues. Candidates each will have two minutes to respond, and an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate a discussion. The town meeting participants will be undecided voters selected by the Gallup Organization."
