10:05 a.m. The commissioner approved a declaration of taking for a road project on Glade Road at Buckhorn Trail. County Administrator Steve Bradley said the county and owner were "too far apart" for further negotiations and the county will pay the appraised amount for the right of way.

The project will be the first of a series of improvement projects on intersections along a segment of Glade Road in Acworth. It will be funded with 2003 and 2008 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax dollars.

10:03 a.m. Brown approved the refinance of bonds for pump station work at GA 113 and Cassville Road. The project was funded a couple years ago.

10 a.m. The commissioner appointing Boyd Morris to the Bartow County Zoning Appeals Board.
