Free Film, Info Set for Hospital's Girls Night Out

Cartersville Medical Center's event set for Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m. will focus on mother-baby services and GYN robotic surgery.

The 2012 film What to Expect When You’re Expecting highlights the event, set for 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 20 at the . CMC delivers per year.

Nurses and midwives will be on hand to answer questions about the hospital's Special Beginnings services, including personalized maternity care, advanced remote-monitoring technology, couplet care and complimentary breast-feeding assistance for new mothers.

For those beyond childbearing years, members of the da Vinci robotic surgical team will be presenting information on GYN robotic surgery, which offers less scarring, less risk of complications and infection, a shorter hospital stay and quicker recovery time.
