Former Principal to Run for State Senate Seat

Dwight Pullen to run for Loudermilk's vacant seat.

A former principal in Cherokee County wants to fill the spot left by Barry Loudermilk to run for Congress.

Canton's Dwight Pullen has entered the race for State Senate District 14, according to the Cherokee Tribune.

Pullen is a retired educator who previously served as principal of Teasley Middle School, Polaris Evening High School and Chapman Intermediate School.
