The Georgia Department of Labor’s Cartersville Career Center and the Bartow Employer Committee’s Human Resources Council will co-sponsor a veterans’ career and services expo and a reception will also be held for the attendees.
Scheduled to coincide with Pearl Harbor Day, the expo will feature a number of employers, educational institutions and resource agencies which provide assistance to job seekers. Applicants should bring multiple copies of their resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available jobs.
Employers expected to participate in the event include: Applied Thermoplastics Resources (ATR), Ashton Staffing, North Georgia Staffing, Randstad Staffing, Shaw Industries and Terry Reid KIA. Other organizations scheduled to participate include: American Legion, Chattahoochee Technical College, U.S. Veterans Administration (VA), U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy.
