Commissioner to Eye Contracts for Fire, EMS Headquarters
At a meeting set for Wednesday at 10 a.m., Bartow County Commissioner also is set to approve resolutions that would add greenspace and begin work on road projects.
Land preparation at the site of the new Bartow County fire and emergency medical services headquarters near U.S. Highway 41 and Felton Road has been ongoing for some time.
Wednesday, Commissioner Clarence Brown is set to approve contracts with C.H. Kirkpatrick & Sons that would develop roadways, water and sewer at the location.
Other items on the agenda include appointments to the Bartow County Animal Control Board and an amendment to the defined benefit plan for county employees.
