The resident of The Oasis at 905 N. Tennessee Street told authorities she didn't know what type of vehicle hit her about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Cartersville Police Department accident report.
The woman was lying in front of the apartments with visible injuries and bleeding from her head and left hand.
"Video surveillance shows a dark color, possibly green or black, Ford SUV entering the apartments at 1331 hours and exiting the apartment complex at 1332 hours at a high rate of speed," an officer wrote in the report.
Witnesses told police they previously seen the vehicle and believed the occupants to have been visiting a resident, but the tenants of the units in question said "they didn't see anything," according to the report.
The victim was taken via ambulance to Cartersville Medical Center for medical treatment.
