The husband said he told Lisa Charlene Miller, 56, he was tired of arguing and went to bed. She apparently was not satisfied with his response or lack thereof.

Miller allegedly went into the bedroom and tried to continue the argument. When her husband did not respond, Miller allegedly hit him in the head multiple times with two wooden spoons.

Police found several spots of blood on the bed, pillow, floor, a newspaper and the husband, who was treated for multiple lacerations on his head by the Bartow County Emergency Medical Service, according to the report. The wooden spoons were found inside the washing machine, along with blood-soiled clothing and blood-soiled water.

Miller allegedly told police she was talking to her husband and he stopped responding to her, and when he would not respond to her, she struck him three times in the head with two wooden spoons.

She was arrested and jailed on an aggravated assault charge under the Family Violence Act.
