Woman Allegedly Kidnapped From Work
The woman said she was forced into a van at the Travel Centers of America.
A Cartersville woman said she was kidnapped on Monday from the Travel Centers of America by a known man.
Sabrina Cooley told a Bartow County Sheriff's deputy that when she walked outside of the travel center, where she works, Christopher Cooley grabbed her by the hair and forced her into a tan conversion van, driving her to his uncle's house on Cedar Creek Road.
Later that day, Christopher, Sabrina and Barbara Soulis were driving down Adairsville Pleasant Valley Road when their vehicle ran out of gas. Christopher left the scene and ran to nearby residence, then fled from there into a wooded area. He was captured as he exited the woods onto East Valley, and is charged with one count of kidnapping, two counts of terroristic threats, one count of violating probation and a superior court bench warrant.
