The man struck and killed by a train off Old Allatoona Road shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday has been identified as 20-year-old Daniel T. Anderson of Cartersville.
Deputy Coroner Brandon Duncan said Anderson lived nearby.
"As far as we know, he was walking on the tracks for some unknown reason," Duncan said.
