Teen Trio Charged with Damage

Sheriff Clark Millsap said the youngsters broke fence boards, busted concrete blocks and damaged an Acworth home's shingles.

Three youngsters have been charged in connection with an October bout of destruction, authorities in Cartersville say.

Sheriff Clark Millsap said in a news release the Acworth area juveniles, ages of 13 to 15, damaged property that did not belong to them. The trio allegedly entered Sunset Road property in Acworth and were seen by a neighbor breaking fence boards, busting concrete blocks and tearing up shingles on a home's roof.

The cost to repair all the damage was more than $500, officials say.

Investigators conducted interviews with the children, and say they admitted to causing the damage. Authorities filed juvenile warrants against the three, who were released to their guardians per the local .
