The second in two months had two nearby schools again on lock down until campus police arrived, then in a "heightened state of alert" as authorities looked for a man with a switchblade knife.
A 25-year-old bicyclist called 911 about 12:30 p.m. Monday from after a man jumped out of the woods along the walking track and demanded the bike and a cell phone, according to the report. The robber pointed the knife at and said he would cut the victim, but fled to the woods over a 10-foot chain link fence when the bicyclist peddled away and called police.

Because officers felt the suspect had left the area, schools returned to normal operations following the Code Yellow, during which time students remained inside the building and required an escort to go outside, according to a letter sent home to parents.
