State Patrol Opens New Post
The Georgia State Patrol office and barracks in Cartersville is now at GA 20 Spur and Smiley Ingram Road.
It's been a long time coming for state troopers cramped into a small facility shared with the , but today is the day the new state patrol post opened to the public.
According to , the new facility at 130 GA 20 Spur in Cartersville will have the same hours as the old, which are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed from noon to 12:30 p.m. and on holidays.

Although some maintenance and revamping is in store for the local DDS office, it will remain at 1300 Joe Frank Harris Parkway.
