Police, Family Search for Teen Missing from Cartersville

She is considered a runaway and faces runaway charges in juvenile court.

Police and family are searching for a missing Cartersville teen believed to have run away from home.

Peyton Cheyenne Nelson, 16, was last seen Jan. 13 at QuikTrip at 1364 Joe Frank Harris Parkway SE in Cartersville, according to The Center for Search & Investigations.

She is 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs 145 pounds and has brown hair and dark brown hair.

Bartow County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Jonathan Rogers said Nelson is a runaway who faces runaway charges in juvenile court.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call BCSO at 770-382-5050 or private investigator Sheila Rowland at 706-616-7973.
