Police Arrest Day Care Employee

Cartersville police charged the woman with reckless conduct in connection with scratches on a 10-month-old child's face.

A woman say was caring for a 10-month-old child who sustained severe scratches to the face at has been arrested.

According to a news release, Lacreasha Denise Buggs, 29, of 325 N. Bartow St., Cartersville, was charged with reckless conduct.

Buggs was taken to the to await a bond hearing.

Lt. Mark Camp, Cartersville Police Department's public informtion officer, said he knows of no other pending criminal cases, charges or arrests in connection with Kids Junction, but WBHF — 1450 AM reports at least one other case involving the facility is under investigation by local police.
